Regarding work permit or change of status of F2 visa holder

Do F2 visa holders are eligible to apply for work permit? If yes whats the procedure?

Does F2 visa gets converted to F1 visa/ J1 visa? How is it possible?

F2 is not allowed to work. If primary F1 changes status to J1, F2 also has to apply for COS to J2, it is not automatic. J2 can apply for work authorization. But, J1, J2 have home country residence requirements. F2 can change to F1/J1 by applying for Change of status or traveling outside, obtain an F1/J1 visa and enter.

Hi everyone, If anyone knows the steps to change F2 visa to work permit or J2/J1. I really need to work . Is that possible? What I have to do?
