F1 visa issue

Actaually i did got the visa for f1 and i was excited i forgot my i 20 with the counslate, i didnt knew that i was suppose to take the i 20 back and even the official forgot to give it to me. what am i suppose to do, i did called to counslate and they said that i should visit them between 9-11 am. I donno what to do, if someone can help.

When you receive the passport check the envelope, it may have the I20. If not visit the consulate. You can also ask the university for a duplicate I-20.
