F2 on F1 OPT

Hi all, I am a F1 PhD student graduating in August and my wife is currently in US with a F2 status. I am applying for OPT with a job offer. What will be the impression on my wife during my OPT time? Is her current F2 status still valid in that 12 months? We have no plan to travel outside US during my OPT.

Yes, your own status will remain F1 and hence her status will continue to be F2.
