I-20 expired : please advice

Hi .....

As i forgot and also our international office failed to notify me , My I-20 was expired on 05/31/09 . Today international office(DSO) applied for "data fix " in my SEVIS account to change the expiry date . They asked me to wait atleast 2 weeks for the decision .

Do think it can solved the problem or is there any other procedure i can try ?

Please advise me ...

You have to wait and see what the decision is about reinstating your status. That is probably the only thing as SEVIS is terminated.
