question!
I translated a text for the company thinking that they would just pay me. Now they want me to bring in my SSN so that they can pay me. I am here on a student visa. It says on my SS card that I am not authorized to work.
I didnt know that this was going to be a JOB, JOb! So, would it be okay to use my SS in this case?

If they pay you, that is considered work and you are violating your F1 status.
