bi/b2 and student visa

i currently have a b1.b2 visa valid for another 3yrs. if iwant to apply for a student visa b4 the expiry of this one what will be the procedure.

and how will if effect my current visa?

Each visa is evaluated on individual merit. The fact that you have a visitor visa is a good thing if you have always returned on time in your earlier visits.

what i actually meant was tht if i dont get a student visa, will be visit visa be cancelled?

Good question. Possibly if the student visa was rejected due to the fact that you were a potential immigrant. Visitor visa also requires the alien to overcome the same burden and the VO could choose to do so.
