I am recently married to a Japanese citizen. She has a 19yr old daughter who is here now on an F1 visa. My wife just received her greencard and we would like to know:
1) can my wife submit a change of status for her daughter?
2) can I submit a change of status for her daughter?
3) Would adoption (California) be a better or quicker option?
4) Is there any way to get a work permit, SSN, or California ID
while on an F1 visa?
A lot of questions at once but I am sure many more are to follow. Thank you in advance for any assistance or advise given.
