F1 Visa- I-20 Finance Documents

Hello Friends

I have one small doubt.

Say one person in my family was staying in USA and he just moved back to home country one year back but he has active account in leading USA bank and he has around 20000$ in his account.

Now my question is can I show him as my sponsor? will it be okay if i send local affidavit of support with USA bank balance statment to university for I-20? Do I need to get any other document from USA other than bank balance like i-134 or bla bla?

Please help me.. its urgent.

You need to prove that you can pay for your own education. This is the best. I know it is a lot of money but you can apply for a loan and show the loan sanction, your property papers in India, bank statements etc.
