I am currently on F-1 Visa in OPT status and I have an offer letter with start date in Dec. I would like to travel to India for one week before joining. Is it safe?
I have valid passport, Visa, EAD, I-20 and Offer letter. I completed my studies in Aug 2009 and started OPT in October.
I've only heard that in some cases, even people with H-1b were denied re-entry this year on their way back. How true is that? If that's actually the case, am I taking a big risk by going ahead and making that trip?
