Hi All,
I recently graduated. I received my EAD card and I also have a job offer which starts on January 4 2010. I am planning to visit India but I realized that my passport expires on March 30 2010. My plan was to leave Mid December and comeback Jan 1.
It seems my passport should not expire within six months from the scheduled entry date. Can I go to India and get it renewed there (within the 15 days) or is it too risky to travel ?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
How long does it take to renew the passport within the USA (Say in Houston) if I can go there in person to submit and collect ?
