I am indian student with F1 visa, valid till 2013 .
My passport will expire shortly, on July 2010.
In order to renew the passport, Do i have to leave USA?
Can i renew my passport from Consulate General of India, Houston ?
I am at Las Vegas, Nevada.
Any suggestions where to renew the passport, without leaving USA?

you can do it in USA , u need to fill online passport form , get the printout and fill the remaining info by hand attach 3 passport size 3.5mm photo , old passport , and two docs for your adress proof, it will be better if u add one covering letter, $60 is the fee, for return service via FedEx

Do i need to go in person to Indian Embassy in USA?
Or am i fine just with the online application and sending the documents to the Indian Embassy?
