  • Applied for COS from F2 to F1 but they ask I-134.

I submitted I-539 for COS from F2 to F1 and recently received a letter 'request for initial and/or additional evidence'.
A problem is my sponsor is not in the US and so I-134 is not an option.
    What should I do?

Difficult way: He can sign an affidavit of support on Indian stamp paper that simply states he is willing to support your education up to x amount and attach all his bank statements.

Easier way: Go home and get an F1 visa to return in F1 status. Although it is not guaranteed.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

I may be wrong but I believe that you either have to proof that you have the funds yourself OR that you have a US sponsor

Since the latter is not the case you would have to proof that you have enough funds for your stay. You could have the money transferred to an account with your name on it for instance.
