From F2 to F1

I want to change my visa from F2 to F1. Can I go to Canada and apply for F1 visa instead of going back home?

My husband has F1 Visa and I have two kids in my passport. I renewed the visa last summer in my country in middle east and it is valid for more two years.

The spring class is almost start that why I can not wait for two or three months to change it here in us.

please tell me what I have to do

You may try Canada, but most likely they will send you to home country. You have to prove ties to home country when you apply for F1 visa by showing property, family, job etc.
