F1 renewal, Mexico, any advice/experiences?

Hello,

I'm thinking about renewing my unexpired F1 visa in mexico in March.

The visa expires in May, and I can't go to India (home country) before May. Also, I have to travel to 3 conferences abroad in May, June and July.

I've read some posts by user tamu_anand, and some other info found online. I'm also eligible to apply in mexico, because I'm only extending the visa, and have not changed status. I'm also fully funded by the university.

If there are any successful/unsuccessful visa extensions in mexico, I'd be interested in hearing about them.

Renewed

I managed to renew the visa in Mexico.

I didn't find any difference in the renewal process, between India and Mexico. Same process and similar questions.
