I came to the US in March 2008 on a visitor visa (had visited USA twice before that) and then I started looking at schools and applied to do an Associate course in a City College. After my first semster I got admitted to a State University to do pursue a Masters degree and currently pursuing the course.
I had changed my status while in US (got my Visitor Visa converted to Student Visa, without actual stamping on my passport). I have not visited India since I came back in Mar 2008 and now would like to go to visit my family in India. My question is that since my status was changed while in US only, where should I get my visa stamping done? Should I go to India to get it done or should I go to Mexico?
