F1 Visa - DUI case

Following is my situation:

I am from India & currently in the US on L1 visa. I got a DUI (first offender) in Aug 2009. Pleaded guilty. I have paid all the fines, completed community service and traffic school as of now. Last year I also applied to MBA schools and have been selected in few of them. The course starts in Aug 2010.

Questions:
1. What are the next steps in getting a student visa?
2. What things I would need to take care off before I even apply for visa?

45 days before ur current i-94 expiration date
