I have to apply for F1 Student visa. I am currently employed in US on H1B.
My visa interview date is on 19th April. My last day with my company will be on 13th April (planned).
I am going to fill the DS 160 form today. In this case, what do I fill my employment status as? Presently Employed or Previously Employed?
Also, is there anything that will prevent me from going back to my home country on leave without resigning from company and tendering my resignation off the US payroll once my F1 visa is stamped as opposed to having to resign beforehand and leaving the States?
