Hello,
I am planning to travel to my home country in early November and my F1-visa stamp is expired. I have received my EAD card from USCIS for my STEM OPT extension (approved until ~ July 22, 2021). My husband is on an H1-B visa with an approved I-140 via EB2 category. Is it recommended to travel to renew my F1 visa at the consulate with my spouse being an H1B visa holder and having an approved I-140? His I-140 was approved before our marriage. Is their risk involved as my immigrant intent can be questioned for F1 visa renewal? Would it be better to get H4-EAD instead?
Thank you.
