My wife is on H4 and is pursuing BS in nursing and she plans to graduate in Spring 2011. We are considering COS to F1 so that she can utilize her OPT.
1.When is a good time to consider for COS?
2.Is it mandatory to be on F1 visa for at least one academic year to qualify for OPT or is it ok to be a full time student for the past one academic year and perform COS in the final semester.
3. what are the documents required for COS. The student advisory is of little help at the university.
