Hi Folks,
I got my visa stamped last week and just wanna share my experience with you all. i had an appointment @ 10 am at US consulate - Hyderabad.
reached there by 9.45 pm and was standing in a queue for almost 30 min. then came my turn to submit my docs. as i didnt uploaded my photo online, they scanned it. then was followed to the main building . i was bit nervous as
i dont have any gre r toefl scores & wondering if i get visa or not.
there i was escorted by a guy..who showed me the path to meet the counseller where i found a lady sitting with good appeal and kept jasmine flowers in her hair.
i wished her with courtesy and gave all my TEN prints (ten fingers).
here is the discussion happend with her:
Counseller: Good Morning!
Me: Very Good Morning !!
Counseller: Can i have your passport & I 20
Counseller: what do u do in ur current company?
Me: gave detailed desc abt my role n responsibilities
Counseller: When did you returned from US?
Me: In July .. no in June 2009
Counseller: was it in june or july?
Me: in June 2009
Counseller: Y did u returned from US?
Me: To Get Married
and smiled
Counseller: for which employer you worked there?
Me: i provided my details..(but my h1 visa shows with diff employer)
Counseller: but your employer was diff in the visa
Me: its a sister concerned company to it (just bluffed actually it wasnt. i changed to a new employer after landing there)
Counseller: for which clients you worked in US?
Me: i mentioned the 3 client names which i worked for..
Counseller: you have good exp background, y u choose this uni?
Me: its kinda work n study prog so i opted for this
Counseller: who will support financially?
Me: Myself can support and also my parents as i am the only child( well i wasnt the only child, my parents will kick me if i say so )
Counseller: do you have kids?
Me: no
Counseller: are you taking your wife?
Me: no
Counseller: how come??? (with a big expression on her face)
Me: shez working here and she cant get longterm leave
Counseller: OK Sir, we are done and you will get your visa thru courier in 3-4 business days.
Me: thank you mam and have a wonderful day.
