F1 visa scheduling dates India

Hi, I am trying to book an appointment for F1 visa at Kolkata Consualte. The next available date shows Feb 20 2021.
Is there really such a long wait time or is it showing that because of COVID-19
Please let me know your thoughts.

I've been checking the appointment status every day. The embassy has cancelled my appointment twice and couple days ago, I got an appointment in September 2020.
