Hey everyone. Awesome job at helping each other out 
I have a question...
I am filling out DS160 and I came across a question which asks if I was previously refused a US visa. Yes I was. This was seven years ago and I was 11/12 then. I did not apply by myself, my father took me in. The reason for denial was there there weren't enough ties to return.
My question is, how do I explain to the embassy my situation? After I click 'Yes, I have been refused' they then ask me to explain?
I plan to state when, where and what type of visa. But I'll need to explain WHY...
