I am a US citizen and have a valid passport. I received an internship in Italy for 10 weeks and will be paid a 5k euro stipend. Since the stay is under 90 days do I even need a visa? Or since I am being paid and need to pay taxes is a visa required? If so do I need a Schengen visa or a study visa, since it is an exchange program through my US university that I attend college?
