change of status from B2 to F2

i am currently on the visitors visa and want to apply for change of status to student dependent.My husband is on the F1 visa.Can anyone guide me what is the process to do that.It will be a great help.

B2 to F2

Yes you can apply for change of status you should have a valid I-94 (six to eight weeks remaining). You must be added to the F-1's I-20 as a dependent you must complete an I-539 application with all the necessary supporting documents and submit them to USCIS.
