Currently I'm on H4 visa, applying to F1 visa in India. When paying SEVIS fee, I've used US address, hence got the I797C there. However, I'm currently in India and my husband is in US. Even if he sends today, it will take 3 days to get. I can't wait that long to schedule my visa interview. Do I need to carry I-797C for the interview? I have the scanned copy with me.
