Hi,
I had my F1 visa interview on 29th Oct. The interview went great. VO was very polite and I was confident in my answers. My financials are also very strong.
At the end of my interview, VO kept my passport but said "This is not a rejection and I am handing you a 221g slip. I need to do some administrative processing in the afternoon and will get back to you through email". He did not ask for any other documents.
Is it because of my travel history to different countries? I have been to UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, China( only transit), Nepal, Belgium, Netherlands, and Spain.
Also, my course is data science and I told VO that I did work in Natural language processing. So, is it a TAL check?
