I would really appreciate if you could help me out. I lost my job at the end of last month on Dec 30th . As such I was on H1B visa till Dec 30th. A week before my Dec 30th I applied for a visitor visa (B2) so that I dont become out of status. Now I am thinking of getting a Masters degree from an engineering college.
My question is can I get the F1 visa given my current situation? Also do I need to cancel the application requesting the B2 visa. If so how do I do that?
Any help is highly appreciated.
