F1 visa and B2 visa denial since year ago

hi
i applied for b2 visa last year with my family both of my parents got
the visa but i didn't . to visit my brother however i am planing to
apply for f1 visa for a short course period about 2 months the
University didn't accept B2 visa in their programme so i have to apply for f1 visa .
essential questions: do B2 denial will affect on my chances to get any
visa in the future ?
and what is expected in my case and what is expected to see during in the interview ?
