I was on H1B visa until end of July and my I-94 is valid till May 2022. I applied for COS to F1 visa in July 2020 before quitting my job. In May 2020, I had also applied for a COS to H4 visa (on my wife's H1B). So at this point, I have 2 COS applications pending with USCIS.
I joined an MBA program in Sept 2020 while waiting for the COS applications to process. I need F1 visa to be able to do an internship and at this point, the only option I have left is to get the F1 visa before the Spring Quarter starts in April. If it doesn't come by then, will I be able to get F1 visa that starts in summer? Or will it be next fall?
Also, I know there isn't a process to request premium processing for I-539. But, I filed my applications electronically by creating an account on My USCIS. There is an option there to send a message. Would it help if I request them to expedite my application by sending a message?
