Represented as Unmarried and got F1 visa - how do i correct

my wife mentioned Single and got her Student visa and came to the US on F1 in Jan. Will that be an issue in the future? How do we correct this? Please advice.

I hope your spouse would have mentioned wrong marital status in DS 160 form.. If that is the case, you can not go back and let Officer know about this.. But, When you go for Visa stamping under dependent visa, if they raise the questions about this, you are in the situation to clarify and give clear explanation on this.. Better, you can get explanation letter from your spouse..
But please make note, false information providing will make big trouble.
