I am an international student on F-1 visa and have graduated in May 2021. My OPT start date is June 7th. My father is currently admitted in a hospital in India with Covid-19 complications and is in a critical state. My query is can I travel to India during this time and return. Can you please clarify.

No, you will not be able to return, unless you have a spouse or child who is a US citizen or permanent resident, or you first spend 14 days in a country in a country other than Mainland China, Iran, the Schengen Area, the UK, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, or India, before returning to the US.
