Hello everyone.
I was so set on going back home to the Philippines after graduation. But my family here in the States finally persuaded me to apply for the OPT and work for a year. The problem is, I applied late (like...days after our graduation) so now I have at least 90 days of waiting before I can even work.
I'm planning on getting a job in Editorial/Publishing after I get my EAD.
But, what can I do while I wait? I know I can't work without an EAD. Does that include being paid to babysit or mow lawns? Get freelance jobs online? Volunteer at a senior center in exchange for food and lodging? Sell lemonade in my aunty's neighborhood? Sell artwork on Etsy? Sell designs on Society6?
Sorry. I just really want to explore my options to see if there's anything I can do while waiting so I don't drain my savings completely.
