My new wife has an F1 Visa and we just got married. We are applying for papers but are so worried. She needed to survive in the US so she worked at a restaurant and has recieved checks and even filed a tax return one of two years. We want to be honest but also dont want to get rejected. She has no work permit. Should we list her part time job on the forms. We have no idea what to do and cannot afford a lawyer. Does anyone have any suggestions are we going to be okay? Or or we totally screwed. Im a us citizen.
