visa F1 extension or a new one
Hi,
I am F1 visa student and F1 will expire in 2006. This summer I will finish my MS ( I changed from PhD to MS) and from Fall 2005 I applied for PhD at other school. I decided
to go to something different. If accepted I know I will have a new I-20 issued by the new school.Since I will attend a new school my F1 visa will be still valid till 2006 ? Do i have to get a new F1 visa or I need to extend the one i have now. How can I do an extension if possible? What shall I do once I will start a new school? I do not want to go to my country to have a new F1 stamped in the passport because most likely I might be denied. Any advice?
I do not want to be out of status.
