How much $$ is sufficient for F2 visa sponserer

Hello Everyone,
I am currently on F1 visa OPT and working as a Full Time Employee in my field of studies. I joined recently in August and would be going India in November end to get married...

I would like to ask is there any MINIMUM or SAFE amount that I should have in my bank account to prove the VO that I can sufficiently sponsor my wife?

I have a very healthy salary, and also had scholarship during my Masters; however I am starting to save right from now.. I am thinking of showing 9k USD
from my bank account and arnd 5-6k from my wife's account...

Is it sufficient?

Can anyone please guide me??

You will need to get a dependent I-20 for your spouse from the school. They will tell you how much you need to show.
