Employment on - DAY 1 CPT

Hi All, I need your advice on my situation - My current OPT is expiring on March 1st 2022 & I am not eligible for STEM extension. I got an offer from a really good company and they want me to start mid january. I expect my I140 & I485 to be applied by the end of January on my spouse application by mid Feb however the processing time for EAD card wont be fast enough for me to continue working in the month of march. Can I join a day 1 CPT school ? Suppose I transfer my sevis id to this school & apply for day1 CPT, how long before I can get it approved ?

Answer: Yes. If you meet the requirement then you can try obtaining day one CPT approval.

Suppose I transfer my sevis id to this school & apply for day1 CPT, how long before I can get it approved ?
Answer: I hope this process will take less than one month to complete.
