Additional processing for F1 visa

Hi,

US Embassy (Delhi) mentioned that my Visa requires additional processing. My interview was on Dec 27th.

I have previously obtained 221g in 2019 and at the time it got resolved in 3 weeks.

This time it seems it will take longer than that.

Is anyone in a similar situation? How long is it currently taking for 221g cases?

US embassy approved my 221g request and asked me to submit my passport for the final processing. It took 5 weeks for the approval. I am assuming another 2 weeks before I have the passport in hand.
