Source of funds vary on i20 and actual funds in the interview.

Hi,
I have received I20 from a university. To do so, i showed the university, lets say X amount, as personal funds. But now I only want to show X/2 as personal funds and rest of the amount through bank loans. Can I change the source of funds in the interview. Or does it have to comply with what is mentioned on the I20 only.
