Hi,
I'm currently on OPT and will apply for STEM OPT. I realized that I made a mistake in i765 when I applied for OPT.
In i-765 it asks for "Any other name ever used". I put "No" there. But, now, I remember that I used to have a slightly different name in my home country (~ 15 years ago). I completely forgot about it. But it was a slightly different name and I went through legal name change in my home country. My OPT and i765 was approved and I got my EAD without any issues. I will include the previous name when I apply for STEM extension.
How much of trouble am I in? and if there is anything I can do to fix it? Or am I too late?
