I am in the process of getting the I-20 in the next few days and ready to submit the SEVIS and DS-160. One of my friends has done all these steps and is still unable to find a visa booking slot. Few quick questions for you
1) Does the US Consulate release monthly slots every month?
2) The wait time for F1 visa says 7 days in Delhi and 9 days in Mumbai, But my friend can't find any slots in any location.
2) Is there any trick to get the visa appointment?
3) Can you help us with getting the slot?
4) It says on this embassy website that the dropbox is available. Does he need to make the schedule to drop it off?
The whole process has become so messy, please advise us how to tackle this. Thank you,
