I used to be a COMMERCE background student in high school, but after some career counselling, I realised psychology was a better fit for me! I didn't think it would be a big deal because almost everyone changes their stream, but the consultant said it could be a problem because the Visa officer won't like it if I did.
I'm curious as to how accurate that is.
For context, I applied to a college in India for psychology during the 1-year gap between my 12th board and going to Canada, but they did not offer specialty, which I did not like, so I opted to apply to Canada.
