file another F1 visa petition if current is stuck in an Administrative Processing

Please advise,
My F1 visa is stuck in Administrative Processing. I have inadvertently marked Yes to the question “Has anyone ever filed an immigration petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service?” I am suspecting that because of this mistake my visa is stuck.
Can some one please advise how to get this corrected also. Can I initiate another F1 visa?

F1 Visa can be rejected after issuing administrative processing. And as long as you have a strong application and nothing fishy, you shouldn't have any problem getting the visa.
