I mistakenly posted this ad under tourist visa... I'm sorry! Here it goes again...
I'm 35 and I've been rejected a student visa last month and cancelled a tourist visa I had been granted last year for the same reasons (214b). The consular office said that since I travel so much I don't have strong ties to my country. I own farm land and I get a rent that allows me to live and travel around without working, so what's the problem???? I've been to the US on 2 occassions and NEVER overstayed. However, it seems that she thinks I'm a potential immigrant!!!!
For the interview I brought title deeds together with the contract showing the rent I get in a yearly basis. I also brought a bank account and the tuition fee I paid to the university to take the class. However, the consular officer didn't want to see any of them.
I would like to re apply, but I don't know what else to bring along. And how long should I wait to try it again? Any suggestion?
