F1 opt student looking for options if last shot at H1B doesn’t go through

Hi- How can I have a conversation with my employer, what’s the right time and what options do I give them in the light of the alternative paths I can take now?
My profile summary below:
1. Education: 3 year undergrad in Accounting and Finance (India), 2 year Postgraduation in Finance ( India), 2 year MBA (UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School)
2. Work in India: 1. 5.5 years I’m of Investment Banking with Citi, SBICAPS and Grant Thornton
3. Work in US: 2.5 years of work with Fortune 500 energy company based in Pennsylvania (current)
4. visa: Stem opt (last chance March 2023)
