Hi, I am an incoming masters student in the united states, and I need to apply for F1 visa. I am a citizen of India, but am currently studying in Switzerland as an exchange student.
I am confused whether I should apply for F1 visa in Switzerland or in India? The US visa site says “You should schedule an appointment for your visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the country where you live https://19216801.onl/ . You may schedule your interview at another U.S. Embassy or Consulate, but be aware that it may be more difficult to qualify for a visa outside of the country where you live.”
Does Switzerland qualify as the “country where I live”?
