What are some ways to support yourself financially during unemployment?

Basically as the title indicates. As far as I know, F1 student under OPT could not do gig economy like Uber, open Amazon/Shopify store, and also most likely don’t have family member here to save rent. Given that the tech job market is so bad right now and job searching can take a while https://showbox.bio/ , I am wondering is there any legal ways to support myself financial during unemployment(including unpaid intern/volunteer)?
