Producing films while on F1

Hi,

I'm a grad student in Cinema Studies. Sometimes I take production classes and produce films. However, next semester I will only take theory classes, but I still want to keep making my films independently outside of class - no money involved. I want to make one film and submit it to film festivals. That is not a violation, right? https://nox.tips/

I've read somewhere that winning prizes and such is not a violation, and so I thought that winning prizes through film festivals would not be a violation either.
