Hello,
I was wondering about, does it matter how far international students live from their universities??
Let us say, I got accepted to study at a university in the state of New York to study for my Master's degree. However, I have enrolled in mixture of Hybrid/online and face to face classes for that semester (that is what my advisor requested, so I am enrolled full-time).
Let us say I wanted to live in a cheaper state such as Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and do my commute for the few face-to-face classes (like maybe 2 classes or 3 a week) by train.
So would I be violating the rules of maintaining my F-1 visa if I live that far away? let's say this never interferes with my ability to attend classes and I maintain good grades as well.
Thank you.
