Re-enter US with Change of status F1 to H1
I'm a student in an OPT Status, and my My H1-B status will be effective from 09 May 2011. Now I'm planning to go to India again in Feb/March for 2-3weeks.
Now, the questions that rose in front of me are:
1. Can I go and come to India on my OPT Status(F1- Visa). My OPT Status will expire in May 2011.
2. Will there be any problem when I enter US again.
3. Or do I have to get my H1-B visa Stamped.
4. If Yes, When I come back in to US after my vacation on what status will I be entering.
5. If I am allowed to enter in US will I be still eligible to work for my company, since I might be stamped as a H1-B candidate and it starts from 09 May 2011.
Could someone please provide me with this information.
