Hi there, I’m a sophomore at an undergrad in a US university. I started applying to internships for next summer a month ago and have been answering no to the future sponsorship question as long as the company doesn’t explicitly say “you have to be US citizen”. Additionally, my plans for the future is to get a masters degree and go back home for family reasons 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254.
I recently got a first round interview for a private equity company and I’m wondering when I should disclose that I’ll be on CPT status? It’s a conversation I need to have with the HR? But CPT is authorized by the school so technically they don’t need to know till the very end when I sign the I9 form? Does anyone have experience with this? Im thinking of having this conversation with HR after two or three rounds of interviews. Thanks.
